Berdasarkan penanggalan Masehi, Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1431 H Insya Allah jatuh pada hari Jum'at tanggal 10 September 2010. Umat Islam di seluruh pelosok tanah air tinggal menunggu keputusan Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia perihal penetapan 1 Syawal 1431 H. Bertolak dari hal tersebut, puasa Ramadhan tersisa 5 hari lagi (H-5 lebaran).
Menjelang lebaran tahun ini, seperti biasanya kesibukan dimana-mana semakin nampak. Kesibukan paling nampak ditunjukkan kaum ibu rumah tangga dan cewek. Pasar, toko dan pusat perdagangan lainnya menjadi incaran mereka. Berbagai kebutuhan rumah tangga menjadi faktor utama kehadirannya disana. Di antaranya berupa kebutuhan akan Sembilan Bahan Pokok (Sembako). Namun tidak sampai disitu saja, kebutuhan lainnya pun ikut menyertai. Semarak lebaran yang dinanti telah menyatu di hati umat Islam sejak lama.
Baju baru, nuansa baru dan hari yang baru. Pada dasarnya, hakikat lebaran tidaklah mesti dengan baju baru atau pun segalanya harus baru. Fitrah berarti kembali menjadi baru layaknya bayi baru lahir dari rahim sang ibu. Tapi sekali lagi, suasana yang semarak di hari lebaran ikut terbantu dengan hadirnya hal-hal baru dalam kehidupan tiap individu. Persiapan demi persiapan pun segera disusun sedemikian rupa. Sejak pertengahan Puasa Ramadhan, pusat pertokoan kian ramai dikunjungi pelanggan yang ingin mendapatkan baju baru. Pasar tradisional hingga pasar moderen dikunjungi demi memenuhi kebutuhan dapur.
Fenomena ini terjadi hampir di seluruh pelosok tanah air termasuk di Bonthain. Dari pantauan Tim Bonthain, Pasar Sentral Bantaeng yang berlokasi di tengah kota Bonthain semakin ramai dan penuh sesak beberapa hari terakhir. Perubahan harga pun tak lepas dari perubahan jumlah pengunjung. Secara umum harga kebutuhan rumah tangga mengalami peningkatan signifikan. Bagi pembeli, harga yang tinggi terhadap barang yang dibutuhkan tetap akan dibelinya. Hal ini dimanfaatkan para penjual dengan menaikkan harga secara sepihak. Mentega misalnya, pada salah seorang penjual dipatok dengan harga Rp 13.000,-/Kg. Sementara di penjual lainnya dipatok seharga Rp 15.000,-/Kg. Kondisi tersebut amat merugikan pembeli, sedangkan penjual diuntungkan. Hal ini terjadi karena faktor kebutuhan yang mendesak. Semuanya menjadi primer, bahkan kebutuhan sekunder atau tersier pun akan berubah menjadi primer disaat mendesak sifatnya.
Kenaikan harga ini, patutlah diketahui masyarakat sebelum beranjak ke pasar. Dengan tujuan agar calon pembeli dapat mempersiapkan anggaran yang akan dibawanya ke pasar. Dalam hal ini management keuangan harus menjadi prioritas agar kelangsungan hidup rumah tangga tetap terjaga dan stabil. Kalau hal ini diabaikan, bisa saja kebutuhan akan barang tertentu tidak terpenuhi. Sementara barang lainnya melebihi batas maksimum dari yang dibutuhkan. Olehnya itu, Tim Bonthain yang bekerja sejak awal Puasa terus mengikuti perkembangan harga di Bonthain khususnya di Pasar Sentral Bantaeng. Berikut disajikan daftar beberapa bahan keperluan paling penting menjelang Lebaran.

Langsat dan rekannya diarak keliling kota
Friday, March 5, 2010Awal tahun 2010 ini, masyarakat Bonthain dimanjakan dengan musim panen buah. Banyak buah-buahan disajikan di pasar. Sebut saja Durian, Langsat, Rambutan dan rekan-rekannya. Buah ini begitu memasyarakat, betapa tidak jumlahnya luar biasa banyak di saat musim panen berlangsung tiap tahunnya.
Saking banyaknya, sebagian pedagang mencari teknik tertentu guna dapat bersaing dengan pedagang lainnya. Persaingan sehat dan lebih kreatif dibutuhkan disini. Antara lain dengan menjajakan dagangannya keliling kota. Masuk lorong-lorong sempit dan mendatangi kompleks perumahan menjadi ciri pedagang tersebut. Media yang digunakan seperti Sepeda, Motor, Becak/Tiga Roda bahkan ada pula yang menggunakan Mobil.
Berbagai jenis buah disiapkan agar pelanggan dapat memilih sesuai kebutuhan. Kreatifitas pedagang ini menarik perhatian masyarakat. Pembeli tidak harus mendatangi pasar dan bernegosiasi dengan penjual untuk mendapatkan buah kesukaannya. Cukup mencatat dan mengingat jadwal lewatnya di lorong depan rumahnya. Saat itulah pedagang akan berhenti dan menjajakan dagangannya. Harganya pun tidak terlalu mahal, pedagang mengistilahkan "Yang penting cukup mengganti biaya kedatangan kami kesini,. Sedangkan keuntungannya tetap mengacu pada standar keuntungan pedagang yang ada di pasar".
Dapat ditaksir biaya yang dikeluarkan jika pembeli harus ke pasar. Ongkos kendaraan Pulang Pergi dapat menguras budget pembelanjaan, sementara yang akan dibeli hanya sekiloan Langsat. Dengan pedagang keliling ini, biaya dapat ditekan.
Setelah mempertimbangkan beberapa hal tadi, kita tinggal memilih langkah mana yang mesti diambil. Namun, patut pula diperhitungkan kualitas buah yang akan dibeli. Jangan terlalu fokus pada harga semata, sementara kualitas diabaikan. Kualitas penting dalam menentukan seberapa besar kalori yang akan dihasilkan dengan menyantapnya.

Trucks are Black List in City
Wednesday, February 3, 2010Pusat Perdagangan Bantaeng sejak lama dikenal berada di pusat kota Bantaeng. Tepatnya di sekitar Jl. Mangga Bantaeng hingga Jl. Manggis Bantaeng. Black Community and Black In News of Bonthain mencoba mengupas fenomena yang terjadi selama ini di seputaran Pusat Pertokoan tersebut dengan Autoblackthrough goes to campus ke TKP.
Sekian lama komunitas TIONGHOA bermukim di Bonthain. Keberadaan mereka sangat berpengaruh khususnya dalam perputaran roda perekonomian di kota kecil ini. Kota yang berjarak 120 Kilometer arah selatan kota Makassar ini dihuni komunitas from Chinesse dalam jumlah yang relatif banyak. Saking banyaknya, ternyata mereka telah menguasai perdagangan yang ada.
Dari Jl. Mangga hingga Jl. Manggis, dibangun toko dan ruko dengan berbagai jenis usaha di dalamnya. Di antaranya berupa penjualan dan pembelian elektronik, kendaraan bermotor, furniture, bahan dan hasil pertanian, sembako serta tentunya menjual Djarum Black, Djarum Black Menthol, Djarum Black Slimz.
Di sepanjang kedua jalan tersebut menjadi semrawut karena berderet mobil truk, mobil boks dan mobil pengangkut barang lainnya. Proses bongkar muat barang dilakukan di depan masing-masing toko. Sehingga mengganggu kelancaran lalu lintas bagi pemakai jalan lainnya.
Mengantisipasi terjadinya kemarahan masyarakat, maka Dinas Perhubungan dan Infokom menertibkan ruas jalan dimaksud. Di foto nampak sebuah rambu jalan terpajang pada titik awal saat akan memasuki Jl. Manggis. Rambu tersebut menerangkan bahwa mobil truk dan mobil pengangkut barang lainnya dilarang memasuki area pusat pertokoan mulai pukul 06.00 sampai dengan 18.00 Waktu Indonesia Tengah (WITA).
Nah sekarang, kesemrawutan jalan berkurang dengan tidak hadirnya mobil truk. Namun di sisi lain, para Daeng BECAK mengambil alih posisi sebelumnya. Deretan Becak di seakan menjadi penguasa di sepanjang kedua ruas jalan ini. belum lagi bilamana Daeng Becak ini mengayuh becaknya dari arah berlawanan. Sementara arah lalu lintas hanya diperbolehkan satu arah saja yakni dari Jl. Mangga menuju Jl. Manggis, arah sebaliknya tidak diperkenankan.
Fenomena ini mungkin saja berlaku pula di daerah lainnya. Inilah suasana kota yang sering menjadi permasalahan utama dalam mewujudkan kota yang tertib dan teratur. Menjadi tanggung jawab Pemerintah dalam menanganinya. Pihak masyarakat dan pengelola toko pun mesti jeli dalam menyikapinya. Sikap sadar dibutuhkan dalam mewujudkan maksud tersebut. Kalau tidak, bukan hanya Truk yang akan di Blackinnovationawards melainkan penggunanya pun akan kena BLACK LIST.

Food Crops
Total wet land paddy area of Bantaeng Regency in 2006 reached 13,023 Ha approximately. This area is still relatively small if compared to potencies of land that have not been cultivated that reached 19,775 Ha. However, the regency has been capable to become rice-self sufficient region. In 2009 farmers in Bantaeng Regency has started to develop Mekongga paddy variety in Legowo system. The outcome is very promising, namely around 9-10 ton/ha. Seen from the production, market potential as well as availability of land, food crops commodities which are prospective to develop is corn and its processing products. While kinds of competitive fruits developed in the regency include mango, banana, strawberry and keprok orange. In 2009 apple fruit starts to be developed in Muntea mountain area. Bantaeng Regency is one of regencies that have huge forest resources. Total forestry area of the regency reaches 6,222 Ha, consisting of permanent production forest (2,187 Ha), Limited Production Forest (1,262 Ha) and Protection Forest (2,773 Ha). Besides various kinds of woods, forestry products that can be utilized optimally include rattan, gum resin and others.
Marine and Fishery Sector

Food Crops
Total wet land paddy area of Bantaeng Regency in 2006 reached 13,023 Ha approximately.
