Social network makin merambah hingga ke daerah. Tak bisa dihindari perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Saking berkembangnya, informasi pun makin mudah dijangkau. Sehingga masyarakat dapat menikmati sajian informasi yang sulit didapatkan, menjadi lebih mudah hanya dengan berbekal salah satu media teknologi yang ada.

Fasilitas seperti Komputer dan Handphone menjadi media yang lazim di mata masyarakat. Kehadiran FACEBOOK telah mengubah karakter seseorang. Sebelumnya tidak paham sama sekali tentang teknologi alias Gaptek, saat ini justru berbalik 360°. Tidak hanya paham, namun lebih pada sebuah kebiasaan yang membuatnya menjadi ketagihan. Informasi sangat penting, maka tiap orang akan berburu untuk mendapatkannya.

Melihat kondisi tersebut, AMBAE melaksanakan kegiatan rutin setiap 2 minggu sekali. Kegiatan dimaksud berupa Talk Show dengan menghadirkan salah satu divisi dari Ambae, dalam hal ini Tim dari Ambae.exe (Computer Application, Maintenance and Supplies). Ramai dikunjungi para Netter Bonthain, Bulukumba, Jeneponto dan wilayah sekitarnya. Sebagai langkah awal, dibahas seputar FACEBOOK. Kenapa Facebook, bahkan pembahasannya berulang hingga pada Session ketiga Talk Show tersebut. Menurut Ambae.exe yang dikonfirmasi mengungkapkan bahwa Facebook menjadi tren masa kini yang ramai diperbincangkan dimana-mana. Hal tersebut menjadi dasar bagi Tim yang bergerak di bidang Teknologi Informasi tersebut dalam membahas Facebook dalam Talk Show yang dilaksanakannya.

Antusias masyarakat pengguna Facebook amat besar. Demikian halnya dengan para BLOGGER yang merespon baik kegiatan dimaksud. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari tiap komentar yang dituturkan para Blogger melalui blog Ambae.exe. Patut disadari bahwa Blogger pun seorang Facebooker. Sehingga wajar jika komentar terus mengalir sebagai respon atas Talk Show yang telah dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 kali ini.

Rencananya pelaksanaan Talk Show berlangsung 2 minggu sekali. Tema yang diusung pun akan berbeda-beda pada session lainnya. Ambae.exe mengungkapkan bahwa pada session keempat nantinya akan sedikit beralih dari dunia Facebook. Tema berikutnya yakni Yahoo! Messenger. Namun tidak berarti Facebook akan ditinggalkan dalam pembahasan dimaksud. Betapa tidak, Facebook menjadi bagian kecil dari tiap sudut dunia maya. Terlebih lagi kemudahan yang diberikan Admin Facebook untuk mengaitkan beberapa social network yang ada melalui layanannya yang diberi nama Facebook Connect.

Ditanya soal tujuan pelaksanaan Talk Show, Ambae.exe mengungkapkan bahwa kegiatan ini sebagai wadah bagi Netter Bonthain pada khususnya. Harapannya dengan menghadirkan nuansa teknologi dan informasi di kota ini, Netter akan terbiasa dan lebih paham akan arti pentingnya dunia maya di sisi dunia nyata.

Seorang Facebooker tidak hanya paham cara bermain Pooker, melainkan dapat Berbagi lebih melalui layanan-layanan yang disiapkan FACEBOOK. Netter dapat menyajikan informasi yang bermanfaat kepada semua pihak dengan memahami dunia maya secara utuh.

Bagi Blogger sudah jelas, blog adalah rumah sekaligus koran pribadi miliknya. Namun, koran ini harus dapat dibaca pihak lain dan keduanya mendapat manfaat darinya. Nah, Bonthain saat ini masih kurang diminati yang namanya BLOG. Dapat terlihat disaat seorang Netter mengetikkan Keyword di rumahnya mbah GOOGLE. Kalau pun telah hadir ratusan blog yang berasal dari Bonthain, namun kehadirannya belum maksimal sebagai media informasi yang mampu mempublikasikan kota ini keluar. Mengingat ketertinggalannya dengan daerah lainnya di Indonesia, maka Ambae.exe menaruh harapan pada semua Blogger maupun Netter Bonthain untuk lebih serius memanfaatkan ruang dunia maya dalam memperkenalkan BONTHAIN.

Talk Show dengan tema BLOG akan dilaksanakan nantinya, meski saat ini belum. Secara bertahap tema-tema lainnya akan mengubah karakter Netter Bonthain ke arah dunia Blog.
